Manhattan Mechanical Services utilizes the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) curriculum for employee training and education. Manhattan Mechanical Services is an Accredited Training Sponsor and an Accredited Assessment Center through NCCER.

Manhattan Mechanical Services NCCER Training Program
Manhattan Mechanical Services will administer standardized training programs developed by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER). This program helps develop specialized knowledge and skills necessary for craftspeople working in the construction, maintenance, and pipeline industries.
Manhattan mechanical services offers NCCER training free of charge to our employees in the following craft areas:

National craft assessment & certification program
All NCCER Journey level written assessments must be passed with a minimum cut score of 75%. Along with the written assessment, there is a performance verification (skills assessment) that employees must pass to be considered Certified in each craft area. Manhattan Mechanical Services provides the journey-level assessments and performance verifications free of charge to our employees. Manhattan Mechanical Services will provide journey-level assessment testing to the public for a fee.

In-House Craft Training
We offer a four-year apprenticeship program, tailored to the light and heavy industrial market that delivers regulatory, safety and skills training. Our training facility comes equipped with welding booths, heat exchangers and other equipment, replicating what apprentices will encounter in the field. Our development and training programs ensure skilled and safe craftsmen for our customers.
