Newly launched, resource-rich website acts as informational platform for industrial partners and portal for career opportunities in the industrial mechanical services field. 

MANHATTAN, IL, AUGUST 14, 2020 — Manhattan Mechanical Services has launched a new website, meritshopworks.com, built with content forward and responsive design. The site ensures industrial partners will quickly find the information they need to make informed decisions in a single location that will readily accommodate any screen type: desktop, laptop, pad or mobile phone. 

“Our main goal with the new website is to be as transparent as possible, so we’re sharing our safety practices, employee training programs, and charity initiatives,” says Manhattan Mechanical Services president and owner, Mike Uremovich. “We wanted to build a platform that truly speaks to every aspect of our company, from our merit shop philosophy to our service offerings and safety culture, all the way to our commitment to the community and job creation.”

The new website features seven key navigation channels: services, industrial markets, projects, safety, community, news, careers and training. 

The new site includes the following sections and features to enable industrial market stakeholders and partners to access valuable, detailed content more efficiently and effectively:

• A menu mirror approach offers a homepage experience that corresponds with the website’s main menu. Each section on the homepage serves as a gateway or portal to each page. This approach will allow visitors to find relevant information as soon as they land on the website. 
• The news portal offers easy access to the latest Manhattan Mechanical Services news and developments, such as the company’s new East Chicago, 50-by-200-foot fabrication shop, craft training center, and corporate office currently in the development stages. According to Uremovich, Manhattan Mechanical Services plans to invest approximately $2.5 million and create 75-100 jobs in East Chicago over the next few years.
• The careers and training page delivers detailed information on career opportunities, open vacancies, and requirements for application. “We wanted to create a user-friendly portal for potential employees to identify and apply for a career at Manhattan Mechanical Services,” says Uremovich. “We are committed to building a trained and certified workforce of craft professionals who can provide support to our customers in multiple craft areas.”
• The projects page will include case studies documenting Manhattan Mechanical Services’ successful heavy and light industrial projects, providing potential partners with the information they need to make an informed decision.
